ServiceNow – Scoped Application Developer
Responsible for implementing solution design using best industry practices.
Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modificationsandServiceNow related configurations required to support client processes.
Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshootingsoftware problems, implementing bug fixes, and performing root cause analysis.
Participate in discovery sessions and process definitions with team lead and other developers
Lead efforts and provide guidance in requirements gathering and developing/documenting process workflows
Develop ServiceNow solutions and push developments to higher environments using Agile methodologies
6+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform that includes scoped/custom application development.
Extensive Transition & Transformation experience with ServiceNow Platform
Hands on experience in ServiceNow development, including client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and workflows.
Experience in custom inbound and outbound REST and SOAP integrations.
Experienceconfiguring and customizing all aspects of ServiceNow – UI Actions, UI Policies, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, Roles/ Groups.
Experience designing and developing ServiceNow process flows and workflows.
Experience with importing and exporting data to ServiceNow using data loads, transform maps and XMLs.
Experience with developing in ServiceNow Experience App Engine Studio with UI Builder.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-friendly development.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
Experience with creating visually appealing and interactive Service Portal themes and layouts.
Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow ITSM module.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
