1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, smartphone, tablet, or other internet-connected device when you visit that site. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, operate more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. Cookies allow a website to recognize your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information about your preferences or browsing behavior.

Cookies are not programs — they cannot execute code, carry viruses, or install malware on your device. They are passive data files stored by your browser at the instruction of a website. Each cookie typically stores a small amount of data such as a session identifier, a user preference setting, or an anonymized tracking token.

In addition to traditional cookies, we may use related technologies including web beacons (small transparent images embedded in pages or emails), pixel tags, local storage (HTML5 localStorage), and session storage. This policy covers all such technologies collectively referred to as "cookies" throughout this document.

AM Now Developers ("we," "us," or "our") is a Texas-based technology company providing managed hosting, web development, AI and analytics services, and government IT solutions. We operate the website located at amnowdevelopers.com (the "Site") and use cookies to deliver and improve our services, understand how visitors use our Site, and process payments securely.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize the cookies used on our Site into four broad types based on their function and necessity:

Essential / Session Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function. Without them, certain features — such as logging into the client portal, navigating between pages, or submitting contact forms — cannot work. Essential cookies do not collect information that could be used for marketing or to track your browsing on other websites. Because they are necessary for the operation of the Site, they do not require your consent under applicable privacy frameworks.

Examples of essential cookie purposes include:

  • Maintaining your authenticated session after you log in to the client portal
  • Storing a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) token to protect form submissions
  • Remembering items in a service inquiry flow during your current visit
  • Detecting and preventing fraudulent or abusive activity

Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Site by collecting and reporting information anonymously. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. Analytics cookies allow us to measure page views, session duration, traffic sources, geographic regions, and which pages users visit most frequently. This information helps us improve our content and user experience over time. See Section 3 for full details on the specific Google Analytics cookies we deploy.

Preference / Functionality Cookies

Preference cookies allow the Site to remember choices you have previously made — such as your selected language, region, or display settings — so that we can provide a more personalized experience on return visits. These cookies do not track your browsing on third-party websites and are scoped exclusively to our domain.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Site are placed by third-party services that we integrate to deliver certain functionality. These include Google Analytics (analytics), Stripe (payment processing), and potentially other embedded services such as video players or mapping tools. Third-party providers operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we link to in the relevant sections below. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties.

3. Google Analytics 4 Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). GA4 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and report anonymized statistics about how visitors use the Site. This information helps us understand user behavior, identify popular content, measure campaign effectiveness, and improve the overall site experience.

Our GA4 Measurement ID is G-FTRMF9KVHG. The following cookies are set by Google Analytics on our domain:

Cookie Name Purpose Duration
_ga The primary Google Analytics cookie. Assigns a randomly generated client ID to distinguish unique visitors. Used to calculate visit, session, and campaign data for Site analytics reports. 2 years
_ga_FTRMF9KVHG GA4 session-persistence cookie specific to our property (G-FTRMF9KVHG). Stores and updates a unique value for each page visit so that multiple sessions from the same user are associated correctly. 2 years
_gid Assigns a randomly generated client ID used to distinguish users. Whereas _ga is long-lived, _gid is refreshed daily and used to throttle request rates and compute daily unique-visitor counts. 24 hours
_gat Used to throttle request rates to Google Analytics servers. Set to 1 and expires within one minute of being set. Present only when traffic volume is high enough to require rate limiting. 1 minute

What Google Analytics Tracks

The data collected by Google Analytics on our behalf includes: pages visited and the order in which they were visited; time spent on each page; the referring website, search engine, or campaign that brought you to the Site; your approximate geographic location (country and city-level, not precise); browser type, operating system, and device category; and whether you are a new or returning visitor. Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying personal information unless you voluntarily submit such information through a form.

Google's Data Processing Role

Google acts as a data processor on our behalf for analytics data. Google may also use this data for its own purposes in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can review Google's approach to data collected through its advertising and analytics products at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Opting Out of Google Analytics

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits to our Site by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available for most major browsers. You may also manage your Google advertising settings at adssettings.google.com.

4. Stripe Payment Cookies

We use Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") to process payments for our services. Stripe is a leading payment infrastructure provider that is certified as a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 Service Provider — the highest level of certification available in the payments industry.

When you interact with payment-related functionality on our Site (such as visiting a checkout page or the client portal billing section), Stripe may set cookies on your device. These cookies serve the following purposes:

  • Fraud detection and prevention: Stripe uses cookies and device fingerprinting to identify potentially fraudulent transactions, distinguish legitimate users from automated bots, and protect the security of payment flows.
  • Session continuity: Stripe cookies maintain the state of a payment session so that a multi-step checkout process completes correctly even if you navigate between pages.
  • Security tokens: Stripe uses short-lived tokens stored in cookies or browser storage to verify the integrity of payment requests and prevent cross-site request forgery in checkout flows.

Stripe's cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Cookie Settings. We do not receive or store the credit card details or sensitive payment information that Stripe processes on our behalf — that data is handled entirely within Stripe's secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure.

5. Other Third-Party Cookies

Beyond Google Analytics and Stripe, our Site may occasionally include embedded content or integrations that set their own cookies. These may include:

  • Google Fonts: We load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. While Google Fonts does not set cookies in modern implementations, your browser makes a connection to Google's servers to retrieve the font files, which may be logged by Google in accordance with its privacy policy.
  • Embedded maps or videos: If we embed third-party maps (Google Maps) or video players (YouTube) on any page, those platforms may set cookies when you interact with the embedded content. These cookies are subject to the respective provider's policies.
  • Live chat or support widgets: If we deploy a customer support chat tool in the future, it may set functional and analytics cookies. We will update this policy accordingly.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, behavioral retargeting cookies, or social media tracking pixels on our primary website.

6. Cookie Consent

Our approach to cookie consent is as follows:

Essential Cookies — Implied Consent

Essential and session cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function are placed on your device as soon as you visit the Site. By continuing to browse after reading this policy, you acknowledge the use of these cookies. Because they are required for the Site to operate, they cannot be disabled through our interface, although you may block them through your browser settings (see Section 8).

Analytics and Non-Essential Cookies — Opt-Out Model

Our Site operates on an opt-out model for analytics cookies. This means that analytics cookies such as those set by Google Analytics are active by default when you visit the Site. If you do not wish to be tracked by analytics cookies, you may opt out at any time using the methods described in Section 8 of this policy. We do not deploy a mandatory cookie consent banner for analytics cookies at this time; however, we honor all opt-out signals including the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and browser-level cookie controls.

If applicable privacy law in your jurisdiction requires explicit opt-in consent for analytics cookies — such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar legislation — please contact us at privacy@amnowdevelopers.com and we will accommodate your request.

7. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing not be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted technical standard for what websites are required to do when they receive a DNT signal, and major analytics providers including Google do not alter their behavior based on DNT headers alone.

At this time, our Site does not respond differently to DNT signals sent by browsers. We encourage you to use the specific opt-out mechanisms described in Section 8 — such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or browser cookie controls — which provide effective and reliable control over your data, regardless of DNT support.

We will revisit this position if and when a clear industry or regulatory standard for DNT compliance is established.

8. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You have several options for managing cookies placed on your device by our Site and third-party services:

Browser Cookie Controls

All modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through the browser settings menu. The following links provide instructions for the most widely used browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
  • Opera: Settings → Advanced → Privacy & security → Cookies

You can configure your browser to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or notify you before accepting each cookie. Note that blocking all cookies may impair the functionality of our Site and other websites you visit.

Google Analytics Opt-Out

To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data during your visits to any website, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This free browser extension instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript not to share information with Google Analytics about your visit activity.

Google Advertising Controls

You can manage your personalized advertising settings and opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out page.

Deleting Existing Cookies

You can delete cookies that have already been placed on your device at any time through your browser settings. Deleting cookies will not prevent new cookies from being set when you next visit the Site, unless you have also configured your browser to block them.

9. Impact of Disabling Cookies

Disabling different categories of cookies will have different impacts on your experience:

  • Essential cookies disabled: You will not be able to log in to the client portal, and form submissions may fail due to missing CSRF protection tokens. Navigation and certain interactive features may not function correctly.
  • Analytics cookies disabled: The Site will continue to function normally. You will simply not be counted in our traffic analytics, and we will have less information to guide content and UX improvements. This has no impact on your personal experience of the Site.
  • Preference cookies disabled: The Site will not be able to remember your display or language preferences between sessions. You may need to re-select certain options each time you visit.
  • Stripe cookies disabled: Payment processing may be impaired or unavailable. Stripe relies on its cookies for fraud prevention and session integrity during checkout flows. If payment is blocked, please contact us at billing@amnowdevelopers.com to arrange an alternative.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or updates to the services we provide. When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.

Your continued use of the Site after any update to this Cookie Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with any changes, you should discontinue use of the Site or contact us to discuss your concerns.

This Cookie Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
