Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Service Portal solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on front-end user experience, widget development, and integration of Service Portal with core ServiceNow modules and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Service Portal interfaces using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow APIs.

  • Develop custom widgets, pages, and UI components to meet business requirements.

  • Integrate Service Portal with ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications within ServiceNow.

  • Configure and optimize catalog items, record producers, and forms for portal use.

  • Collaborate with backend developers, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure seamless functionality.

  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, code, and release management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience with a focus on Service Portal.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and REST/SOAP integrations.

  • Familiarity with Glide APIs, UI policies, client scripts, and server-side scripting.

  • Experience building responsive and accessible web interfaces.

  • Understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform best practices.

  • ITIL Foundation or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.

Work Environment:

  • 100% remote; collaboration via virtual tools (Zoom, Teams, ServiceNow Dev environments).

  • May require participation in sprint planning, code reviews, and on-call rotations depending on project scope.
